Portland Ash Tree Project

Location: Portland, Oregon

K2 provided biologists to survey riparian areas throughout the Portland area to evaluate the presence and health of Oregon Ash trees. These surveys were conducted to develop a baseline for tree health and cover in anticipation of the Emerald Ash Borer beetle eventually making its way to Oregon. Working as a team, the biologists collected data at over 200 quadrats along streams.
