Lane Wendson Rebuild Project

Location: Western Oregon

K2 provided landowner and environmental support for Bonneville Power Administration’s (BPA) Lane-Wendson No. 1 115 kV Transmission Line Rebuild Project. This project was located between Eugene and Mapleton, Oregon and involved the rebuilding of 41.3 miles of an existing transmission line. The project required K2 to coordinate with all landowners impacted by the project to inform them of project activities and schedules; K2 worked closely with BPA’s right-of-way group to ensure access was available for all project activities. In addition to managing compliance on the project, K2 also conducted resource work for threatened and endangered species and cultural resources. The project was successfully completed in 2019.
