Bonneville Power Administration, Midway-Benton Rebuild and Removal

K2 Environmental LLC provided environmental support to PAR Electrical Contractors on approximately 29 miles of rebuild of an 115kV transmission line near Richland, Washington. K2 provided onsite environmental inspection and oversight; specifically K2 flagged and fenced all sensitive areas, trained crews on procedures and requirements related to sensitive resources in addition to conducting general inspection duties. K2 also conducted raptor surveys along the PAR’s and BPA’s portions of the project. Surveys were conducted twice per week by qualified biologists and reports were submitted to BPA biologists on a weekly basis.
